The Gustav Mahler Foundation Netherlands is committed to keeping attention to Gustav Mahler and his music alive, with a particular focus on his role in Dutch musical life. We do this through publications, events, research and exclusive activities for Friends.
Mission and objectives
The mission of the Gustav Mahler Foundation Netherlands is to keep alive the spotlight on Gustav Mahler and his music, and his special place in Dutch musical life.
To achieve this, the Gustav Mahler Foundation offers the Netherlands for its Friends:
Finally, the Gustav Mahler Foundation promotes scientific research and manages the Mahler Archive at the Netherlands Music Institute(NMI) in The Hague. The GMSN's book collection at the NMI can be accessed by entering the catalogue search using the search term "mahler collection".
